Peace and Conflict-Sensitive Approaches to Development: A Briefing for the OECD Task Force on Conflict, Peace and Development Cooperation and the Conflict Prevention and Reconstruction Network (CPRN)

This paper is based on research, policy dialogue and fieldwork on approaches to peace and conflict-sensitive development, and includes an overview of the policy frameworks within which approaches to peace and conflict-sensitive development practice could be applied; an examination of the different types of approaches that have been developed and key areas in which they need to be enhanced; and an outline of some of the main institutional changes required for effective conflict prevention and peacebuilding.
